Often research posters come across as outdated, serious and poorly laid out. In this case, the client, a Danish medical student, was looking for a design that would attract attention from viewers through a modern & clean aesthetic, with a cohesive colour palette. Her research focused on blood aneurysms in Greenlandic people, with the resulting design featuring 8 custom spot illustrations.

A pastel colour palette was chosen & was used to help break up big chunks of information across the poster. The approach proved successful as the soft colours, combined with a mix of modern & traditional, yet legible typefaces (Bebas Neue & Georgia) stood out from the crowd, placing second from 200+ submissions.
